Karen Starr
Currently a consultant in the nonprofit sector, Karen was a program officer for 28 years at the Otto Bremer Foundation. She has served on numerous community and nonprofit boards and conducted workshops on fundraising, including a series on fundraising strategies for women's organizations that have been presented at the Universities of Minnesota and Alaska. She was one of the founders of the Minnesota Women's Foundation and the Minnesota Residency in Philanthropy for Women of Color. She was also one of the founders of Chrysalis Women's Center in Minneapolis. Karen was elected to the Minnesota AIDS Project Board in January 2010.
