Mike Cassidy
Mike Cassidy is a partner in the firm ROR Tax Professionals where he is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and tax professional. ROR specializes in the unique financial and tax issues of same–sex couples. Prior to his work at ROR Mike has had a varied financial career while at American Express Financial Advisors (now Ameriprise) and Hilton Hotels Corporation. Mike has led the American Express PRIDE Network, one of the largest GLBT workplace groups in the country. He was a leader of DIVA|MN for nine years where he was the event chair for five years, grant–making chair for two and treasurer for three. Most recently, Mike has served as one of the founding board members and Treasurer for Project 515, a group dedicated to ensuring that same–sex couples and their families have equal rights and considerations under Minnesota law. Mike was elected to the Minnesota AIDS Project Board in April 2011.
