Be an Advocate

Become apart of something bigger than yourself and make a difference in the lives of people who are living with or have been affected by HIV. Join the Minnesota AIDS Project and the thousands of volunteers that help make a difference. There are plenty of ways that you can become involved that include donating your time, money and resources. The Minnesota AIDS Project depends on our community to make a difference. How can you become involved? Here are three ways...

1Support Public Policy Efforts

Our Public Policy program strives to meet our mission by advancing policy initiatives related to HIV prevention and services through three main priorities:

  • Advancing HIV prevention initiatives
  • Increasing access to HIV services
  • Protecting existing HIV services and rights

You can get involved by participating in events like AIDS Action Day at the Capitol or by signing up to receive the HIV Action Network to stay updated on news that impacts HIV prevention and care here in Minnesota.

Visit our Public Policy section for more information.

2Volunteer

Each year more than 1,000 volunteers contribute over 10,000 hours of time and energy to our mission. No matter how you help, every minute of your time brings us closer to achieving our goal.

You can choose from a variety of volunteer experiences. We will deliver complete and accurate training based on the assignments you select. We will connect you with other dedicated people in your community and together make a tremendous impact on HIV in Minnesota.

3Donate

Your donation ensures Minnesota has the advocacy, prevention and essential health services necessary to stop HIV. Only with support like yours can the Minnesota AIDS Project continue the fight against HIV.
