Medicare

MNsure
Call the MNsure Contact Center (855) 366-7873 if you

  • have technical issues using the MNsure website
  • want to make sure your application was received and is being processed
  • need to report changes in life circumstances (i.e., changes in income, marital status, tax filing status)

Medical Assistance and Minnesota Care
Call the DHS Member Helpdesk (651) 431-2670 if you have MA or MCRE and have questions about the following:

  • your benefits
  • how to use your benefits
  • your ID number

Call the county you live in (phone number varies by county) if you have MA and have questions about the following:

  • sending in proofs or other required documentation for an application
  • the status or effective date of your coverage
  • reporting changes in life circumstances

Call MinnesotaCare (651) 297-3862 if you have MinnesotaCare coverage and have questions about the following:

  • sending in proofs for an application
  • the status or effective date of your coverage
  • paying your premium
  • reporting changes in life circumstances

Private Health Insurance

  • If you have a private plan, call your carrier if you have questions about the following: your benefits, which medications your plan covers, which doctors accept your health plan, or paying your premium.
  • If you have a private plan that Program HH is paying for, call Customer Care (651) 431-2398 with questions about when your premium was paid or invoices or notices from your health insurance carrier regarding premium payments.
  • Contact the Benefits Counseling Program at the Minnesota AIDS Project for assistance with contacting any of the above-mentioned agencies or with troubleshooting any of the above-mentioned issue: (612) 373-2468.
