Sponsorship OpportunitiesMinnesota AIDS Project relies on the generosity of our corporate as well as individual donors to support our important work. Our signature fundraising events, the Oscar Night® America party in late winter, and the AIDS Walk on the third Sunday in May, raise money and awareness in the battle to stop HIV. The individuals that attend our fundraisers are socially conscious, forward thinking and brand loyal. Sponsoring a Minnesota AIDS Project event can link your brand or service to a broad cross-section of Minnesotans. Minnesota AIDS Project is a respected steward of community resources with 86 percent of every dollar received by the agency going to services. Oscar Night®—February 25, 2007
Approximately 2,000 individuals come together to watch the Academy Awards® broadcast at the State Theater in downtown Minneapolis. In addition to the commercial-free big screen Academy Awards telecast, guests enjoy complimentary signature appetizers and delicious desserts from the Twin Cities' finest restaurants and chefs. Other key elements of the evening include a silent auction of luxury items. www.hollywoodevent.org Minnesota AIDS Walk—May 20, 2007
This community-wide event attracts 10,000 people each year on the 3rd Sunday in May at Minnehaha Park in south Minneapolis. The Walk starts and ends in a festival setting and follows a scenic river route where families, pets, singles, young and old come together to raise money and awareness, commemorate friends and loved ones lost to AIDS and celebrate those living with HIV. There are many sponsorship opportunities available at these events.
