How My Donation Works
Looking to make a difference? To support the work of the Minnesota AIDS Project, like our educational work in the community or working with those living with HIV to prevent further new infections, you can make a donation by clicking the donate flag to the right or by contacting our development department.
Your support ensures the delivery of important services for more than a third of the over 6,400 Minnesotans with HIV. It also supports a range of essential prevention and education programs in the battle to keep rates of new HIV infections low. But how does your donation help? The Minnesota AIDS Project receives funding for a number of specific programs but depends on the generous donations of individuals to provide unrestricted funding that allows us to react to the ever changing needs of HIV prevention. This includes supporting our public policy efforts to let our elected officials know how HIV is impacting our community, providing safer sex information to at–risk groups through our outreach programs, or supporting our programming to connect HIV positive people with the health care they need which reduces the likelihood of new infections and provides them a better outcome.
From a small donation that can support our online outreach to reach young adults to a $1,000 donation which can provide the funding for our AIDS Action Day at the Capitol, each and every gift assists the Minnesota AIDS Project in reducing the impact of HIV in our state.
