Changing Systems

What is Systems Advocacy?

Systems Advocacy helps people living with HIV overcome barriers encountered while navigating complex health care and social service systems. MAP's systems advocates work to make these systems more responsive to the needs of those affected by HIV through research, policy recommendations, outreach and education and training. MAP's Systems Advocacy focuses on five main areas:

  Women & Families
     
  Substance Use
     
  Pharmacy Access Initiative
     
  Injection Drug Use Outreach
