Introducing the HIV Action Network!!!
To reflect a new forward-thinking advocacy presence on HIV, Minnesota AIDS Project public policy staff embarked on a process to rename and reenergize our email network. Throughout the late summer and fall of 2007, staff engaged community members in this discussion. In addition, an electronic survey was conducted to solicit further guidance. Incorporating all of this feedback, we are introducing a new name—HIV Action Network, with a new logo, to reflect a new, updated, movement-oriented focus to this network.
Moving forward, public policy staff will be advancing public policy communications and material resources under the HIV Action Network logo.
This process would not have been possible without the input provided in the former MAP Advocate user survey and the feedback of the re-design committee. Thank you to everyone who provided feedback. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, do not hesitate to contact public policy staff.
