CLEAR

CLEAR (Choosing Life: Empowerment! Action! Results!) counseling assists HIV positive or negative individuals to take charge of their lives, be proactive, set goals, learn ways to reduce HIV/STI risk and protect their health.

CLEAR counselors work with participants during 8 to 27 weekly one–on–one counseling sessions depending on individual goals.

Who is eligible to participate in the CLEAR program?

  • Gay/bi/trans/questioning men between 18 and 29
  • Who are struggling with substance use or wondering if it is an issue in their lives

By completing the CLEAR program, participants will earn $100 in gift cards starting with a $20 gift card for the first session, $10 gift cards for most sessions, and ending with a $20 gift card for the final session. CLEAR also offers monthly transportation assistance in the form of $20 bus or gas cards. Program graduates can also earn $10 gift cards for each participant they refer to the program, as well as for participating in the booster groups.
