Transportation

The Minnesota AIDS Project provides transportation services by taxi to eligible HIV–positive individuals living in the Twin Cities metro area for medical or pharmacy visits. Rides must be requested at least two working days in advance. Transportation services are provided Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some food shelf pick–ups and deliveries are available through volunteer drivers.

Bus passes are available for individuals living with HIV who cannot obtain a bus pass from other programs.

Eligible residents of Chisago, Isanti, Sherburne, and Wright counties in Minnesota can receive mileage reimbursement for medical and pharmacy visits.
